This comic is awesome! And I can’t believe you won! The suspense not just about gambling but about the personal ramifications of winning is really wonderfully done, and the ending is fabulous – it says so much about our hopefulness in relationships versus that fear of what winning brings. Anyways, this is amazing.
I’m curious what would have happened if it had been a million dollars. It’s so funny to think that somehow winning a bunch of money would fix whatever problems had driven the two of you to break up in the first place. Clearly those problems were bigger than $1,200…
