Forever Stamp Poets

By

Because nothing says “here is my overdue rent” like a greeting sealed with a Theodore Roethke stamp.

The United States Postal Service is jumping into the fun of National Poetry Month by issuing ten new forever stamps featuring the handsome mugs of great poets Elizabeth Bishop, Joseph Brodsky, Gwendolyn Brooks, E. E. Cummings, Robert Hayden, Denise Levertov, Sylvia Plath, Theodore Roethke, Wallace Stevens, and William Carlos Williams.

Check out the hilarious picture of Cummings that could be gracing your next phone bill, and find some information on the photographs themselves here.
