Tuesday 10/9: Poetry off the Shelf continues at The Poetry Foundation with a reading by Tom Pickard. 7 p.m., free.

Wednesday 10/10: Celebrate Poetry Day with a reading by select MacArthur Fellowship recipients Linda Bierds, Peter Cole, and Brad Leithauser. The Poetry Foundation, 6 p.m., free.
