Monday 1/17: See the comics that kicked off Sketchfest a decade ago at their 10 Year Reunion Show. Tuesday 1/18: Ever get the urge to throw your smart phone against a wall and retreat to the comforts of pre-internet living? Former Sr. Vice President of Intel, William Davidow, joins the Commonwealth Club for a talk about his new book, Overconnected, and the consequences of the internet. Wednesday 1/19: If you loved Kasper Hauser on Monday, see the Kasper Hauser Time Machine perform from ten consecutive years of Sketchfest experience back at the Eureka Theater. Tickets $20, 8pm @ 215 Jackson Street.
Thursday 1/20: You’ve totally got a novel/memoir/poetry collection in you, right? You’ve just been waiting for the chance to prove it to literary agents and publishers, right? Tonight’s your chance at Pitchapalooza at Booksmith. 20 writers chosen at random will get a minute each to pitch their dream project, and the winner will earn themselves an introduction to a literary agent appropriate to their book idea.
